Good noise cancellation, without the bulk.

Editor's rating: 4

The volume is, handily, controlled by a slide mechanism which can clip on to your coat or bag for easy access. There is also a “monitor” button, which allows you to quickly turn off the active noise cancelling without taking the earphones off. This thoughtful function is especially useful when wearing the earphones while on foot around the city, and conducive for not getting run over crossing roads.

These earphones are a good entry-level product if you want to try out noise cancelling. They’re excellent for life on the go, lightweight and do a pretty good job of shutting out the rest of the world. If you want earphones with more versatility (to be able to plug them into your computer, for example) or are particularly serious about your noise cancelling, you might want to consider forking out a bit more for one of Phitek’s other products.
