Sixteen teams of overclockers selected through regional qualifiers are travelling to Taiwan on September 28 for the grand finals of Master Overclocking Arena 2012, organised by motherboard and graphics card manufacturer MSI.
Finalists qualified for the finals in regional heats held in the Americas, EMEA, and APAC, as well as an online overclocking tournament. Each team consists of two overclockers who try to wrest the most performance out of the supplied gear on the day.
For Asia Pacific, one of the teams to qualify for the grad finals, team.au, includes New Zealand's own Dean "Deanzo" Smith. Deanzo is from Christchurch.
