Fatso (finally) adds games to its rental collection
Online DVD and Blu-ray rental service Fatso is now going to be loaning out video games, on top of the movies and TV shows it has offering for the past eight years.
Siobhan Keogh | Monday, December 03 2012Online DVD and Blu-ray rental service Fatso is now going to be loaning out video games, on top of the movies and TV shows it has offering for the past eight years.
The service is called Fatso Games Club. Titles at launch include Hitman: Absolution, Far Cry 3, Call of Duty: Black Ops II, Halo 4, and Assassin's Creed III.
New releases are priced at $3 per day and older releases can be as low as 49c. However, there is a minimum rental period which PC World understands to be five days.
After the minimum rental period, customers will be charged up until two days before Fatso receives the game back.
"We’re stoked to deliver a truly cost-effective gaming service with the convenience you’d expect from Fatso – direct to your door, free postage and no ‘due back’ date to spoil the fun," said Fatso business manager Cuan Gray.
Games are available for PS3, Xbox 360, Wii U, PS2, Xbox and Wii.
"We understand the frustration of having to return a game before you’ve had a chance to finish it so we’re giving customers the controls in more ways than one."
Fatso Games Club requires that members be at least 18 years old.
