Evernote Business launched in New Zealand

Evernote, lauded for its consumer apps and web tools, has now launched for Kiwi businesses.

Updated: Evernote has confirmed New Zealand launch and pricing - $13 per month per user

Evernote is one of our favourite apps here at PC World, and when Evernote Business launched two months ago, we were only disappointed that it hadn't launched in New Zealand

That's now changed: Evernote has rolled out its Business offering to an additional 28 countries, including 26 European nations, Australia and New Zealand.

Evernote Business is designed for small businesses and, as with Evernote, brings together music, images, handwritten scribbles, web pages, links, video, presentations, documents and more into "notebooks". Notebooks allow you to can gather thematic or project-based information.

Evernote's basic idea is that you store everything, and then you can access it wherever you might be. It has smartphone apps for all major platforms, desktop apps, and its available through the web.

Evernote Business adds business notebooks, which are available to the organisation's admins to manage and modify. Essentially, each business notebook can be shared with a group of users. Each user can access any business notebooks that they're permitted to see, but they also get personal notebooks which are private.

Each business account can use a companywide business library to story and manage knowledge that's available to all its users. It's the perfect spot to put anything the entire company should see, whether that be the Christmas party photos, policy and procedures manuals, new employee handbook, or the strategic plan.
