Ask Microsoft: What do you want to know about Windows 8?

Is there something you've been burning to know about Windows 8? Now's the time to ask.

Is there something you've been burning to know about Windows 8? Now's the time to ask. At the end of this month, Waikato Times technology editor Chris Gardner will be off to Tech Ed Europe to learn all about Microsoft's upcoming operating system and meet with its builders.

While he's over there, he'll be asking questions on behalf of PC World, too - so tell us what you want to know in the comments, and Gardner will select the top questions and get them answered direct from the horses mouth!

Windows Choice? If I buy a new machine with Windows 8, will Microsoft allow a free down grade to Windows 7? Have seen the new Windows 8 and to be honest in its current shape will be another Vista for desk top users. However, will appeal to light weight touch screen mobile devices.

Windows 8 Start Menu Will there be an Enterprise version that doesn't have this new start menu, or at least an option to switch it back to a Windows 7 version? I can see most users hating this new start menu if they don't have a touch screen (which admittingly, my organisation has over 1000 pcs and hardly any (less than 10) have touch screens).
