Apple has expanded its iTunes in the Cloud offering to New Zealand, along with a host of other countries.
Siobhan Keogh | Friday, July 20 2012Apple has expanded its iTunes in the Cloud offering to New Zealand, along with a host of other countries.
Kiwis will now be able to access their iTunes content, including movies, from any device that can run iTunes, rather than just the device the content was bought on.
For example, a customer can buy a movie on their PC, and redownload it onto their iPad to watch at another point in time.
Customers also do not have to backup and store their downloaded iTunes content, as it will be saved in the cloud for them. It's analogous to iTunes Match, which works for music.
Apple is also rolling out iTunes in the cloud to the UK, Canada, Australia, and many other parts of Latin America and Europe.
