'App of the Day' for iOS coming to NZ app store
Want some free apps for your iPhone or iPad? AppTurbo will be launching its App of the Day app in New Zealand.
Siobhan Keogh | Wednesday, October 10 2012Want some free apps for your iPhone or iPad? AppTurbo will be launching its App of the Day app in New Zealand in the near future.
The creators of App of the Day negotiate with developers of popular paid apps to get them to offer their apps free for a day. App of the Day informs iOS users of those deals.
App of the Day is localised, so it's likely we'll see a host of apps made for and by New Zealanders.
AppTurbo's mobile marketing consultant, Othmane Sghir, said the launch date was "soon" but still a secret.
However he said the company had enjoyed "great success" in other countries, particularly in Europe.
The app has just launched in Australia and Canada.
