Dell’s Alienware Pod is set to make a special appearance at this year’s CRC Speedshow, held at Auckland’s ASB Showgrounds, in conjunction with PC World.

The Alienware Pod combines a high-end gaming PC with a 72-inch, triple-screen wraparound display. The display rig and integrated seat are hydraulically adjustable by the user, via an arm-rest control panel.

The Pod was designed by Dell engineers to showcase the Alienware brand, and has previously appeared on local television, in PC World and at 2011’s xLAN gaming event in Auckland.

Attendees will have a chance to try out the Pod’s immersive gaming experience, with an as yet to be announced mainstream racing title. PC World staff will be on-hand throughout the show to help out and talk tech.

The CRC Speedshow runs over the weekend of 21-22 July. Details at www.speedshow.co.nz

alienware I checked out this review http://search4laptop.com/ before getting my Alienware M18X and it was quite helpful, not cheap but would highly recommend getting one, it just looks amazing and runs so smooth.
