Cold lines for the world's first iPhone 3G

Despite the cold nights, people are already lining up to be the first in the world to get their hands on the iPhone, here in New Zealand.

Despite temperatures dropping below zero, and being harassed drunken tourists, two young men can't wait to get their hands on the iPhone 3G. New Zealand is the first country in the world to see the iphone on sale.

If everything goes to plan, uni student Jonny Gladwell and Evert Bruyns will be the first two consumers in the world to get their hands on the phone. They have set up camp, but said sleeping was hard due to the constant traffic and light. Last night, a security guard helped look after the two while they slept in line.

New Zealand PC World will have full coverage of the product launch, including what will be the first video review and online review in the world. You can check out www.pcworld.co.nz at 12:01AM on Thursday morning for the review.
